Child & Teen Therapy
I provide therapy for children and adolescents who may be struggling with emotions, behavior, relationships, or life changes. Therapy offers a supportive environment to better understand their inner worlds and develop healthy ways of coping and connecting.
Childhood can be a time of creativity, exploration, curiosity, and increasing independence. It can also bring confusion, emotional overwhelm and intensity, and difficulty finding the right words for what is happening internally. When feelings are hard to name or express, teens and children often communicate through withdrawal, acting out, or changes in mood and behavior.
My work with children and teens focuses on creating a safe and supportive space where they can explore their thoughts and feelings at their own pace. My work with teens focuses on building emotional awareness, strengthening communication, and supporting a more secure sense of self. My work with children utilizes play as a way to better understand how the child experiences the world. As children and teens begin to feel more understood and capable of expressing themselves, they are better able to regulate emotions and move through challenges with greater confidence.
