My Approach

This process is collaborative, explorative, and vulnerable; together we will explore your relational patterns, unconscious processes, dreams and fantasies.

I invite curiosity and openness to help us explore and uncover the dynamics occurring both inside and outside the therapy room.

Therapeutic Relationship

So many of us feel lonely, disconnected, and isolated at times. We fear conflict and the loss of relationships, and in turn, we amend our beliefs and behaviors to avoid these losses; but in doing so, we hide away parts of ourselves that are deemed “unacceptable” or “weird.” I welcome these parts of you to come forward and believe that the therapeutic relationship is one of our most important tools in mending trauma and disconnection.

Through trust, curiosity, and honesty, the therapeutic relationship can help us explore what happens for you during relational ruptures and how to establish more secure and fulfilling relationships.

Psychodynamic & Psychoanalytic

I utilize a relational psychodynamic and psychoanalytic approach to aid in deepening our work together. This means that we will explore the sources of your pain, your relationship dynamics, and your behaviors and mindset to better understand the many facets of your conscious and unconscious mind.

My approach is relational. This means that together, we will observe and uncover the dynamics occurring both in and out of the therapy room, utilizing our therapeutic relationship to explore the ways you interact with the world and others.
