how I work
Many times, people seek therapy when their symptoms start to get in the way or cause pain. Together, we will work to uncover the roots of your symptoms and begin to understand them as the ways in which you’ve adapted to the world around you. Symptoms begin to feel noticeable when our ways of adapting no longer work for us. In therapy, we will work to find more helpful and less painful ways of moving through the world.
My work emphasizes curiosity, openness and depth. It requires commitment, and will feel arduous at times. But all good things take time.
